The Pilot Pro integrates 16 customizable buttons, three rotary controls, and an all-way joystick into a compact layout optimized for left-hand operation. XPPen designed the console around “eyes-free” interaction, allowing users to execute commands instinctively without constantly looking down at the hardware.

The company says the chassis was carefully shaped around the natural grip curve of the left hand, including dedicated support for the hypothenar area of the palm. In practical terms, that means editors can rest their hand naturally during long sessions instead of hovering awkwardly over keys like caffeinated raccoons operating a spaceship keyboard at 3 AM. The Pilot Pro supports three connection methods for stable low-latency operation and includes a rechargeable battery rated for more than 15 days of use based on four hours of editing per day. It is compatible with Windows 10 or later and macOS 11 or later.

Software support includes major professional creative applications such as DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, and Final Cut Pro. XPPen also allows users to upload custom profiles or download presets from professional creators, helping editors quickly switch between different software environments and workflows.
