The Sony Entertainment New Zeland representative, Warwick Light stated that next year Sony to release a digital tuner for the PS3, turning it into a programmable TV recorder. Those statement strengthen the prediction that Sony will unveil terrestrial digital broadcast service freeview months ago.
It is a public secret that the PS3`s sale is lagging behind rival`s console because its relatively high price. But according to Warwick Light as reported by stuff.co.nz, Sony doesn’t believe the PS3’s price is high, considering that when compared to its rivals, Light says, it is a true “next-generation” machine.
And that is why Sony can transform PS3 power and capabilities to produce additional entertainment tools such as TV Tuner, and other resource hungry entertainment media (imo).
