ATTACK SHARK F1 AIR Targets Competitive FPS

ATTACK SHARK is pushing further into competitive gaming hardware with the F1 AIR, a flagship wireless mouse built around an extremely light chassis and seriously high-end internals. At just 39g (+/-3g), it combines a PixArt PAW3955MAX sensor with 8K wireless polling, targeting FPS players who value quick flicks, low input latency, and precise control.

A 39g Design Built Around Fast Movement

Weight is one of the F1 AIR’s headline features. Its 39g body is light enough to reduce the effort required for rapid direction changes while potentially cutting hand and wrist fatigue during longer sessions. For low-sensitivity FPS players who regularly make large mouse movements, the ultra-lightweight chassis should make fast repositioning easier without sacrificing the controlled feel expected from a competitive gaming mouse.

The exterior also gets an ice-feel glass coating designed to provide a comfortable surface while improving durability. Under the buttons, ATTACK SHARK uses Omron optical switches rated for 100 million clicks, giving the mouse hardware that should be well suited to repetitive competitive play and long-term durability.

PAW3955MAX Pushes Tracking to 60,000 DPI

At the heart of the F1 AIR is PixArt’s PAW3955MAX sensor, offering sensitivity from 1 to 60,000 DPI, tracking speeds up to 850 IPS, and acceleration of up to 75G. Sensitivity can be adjusted in precise 1-DPI increments, useful for players who want to reproduce very specific aiming configurations rather than relying on larger preset steps.

The sensor natively supports HP 1K, 2K, and 4K modes while the complete mouse platform can operate at polling rates up to 8,000Hz. ATTACK SHARK has also added improved glass-surface tracking and a five-level lift-off distance adjustment system, giving users more control over cursor behavior when lifting and repositioning the mouse.

Nordic MCU and Smart Speed Wireless

Wireless processing is handled by the Nordic nRF54L15 MCU. Paired with ATTACK SHARK’s Smart Speed Wireless technology, the platform is designed to support dual 8K polling and wireless click latency below 0.168ms under suitable operating conditions and compatible high-performance PC hardware.

A high-speed scanning architecture can exceed 20,000 FPS in dedicated competitive modes, while improved power management aims to keep heat and energy consumption under control. Support for Bluetooth Channel Sounding is intended to improve wireless precision and connection reliability, adding another interesting piece of technology to the F1 AIR’s low-latency platform.

The included shark-fin-style receiver uses an enlarged antenna to improve wireless signal transmission. Integrated LED indicators show connection status, polling-rate settings, and battery information, making important settings easier to check without opening software. The distinctive 8K receiver also visually separates the F1 AIR from more conventional wireless gaming mice.

A Lightweight Flagship for Competitive FPS

The interesting part of the F1 AIR is not any single specification but how much hardware has been packed into such a light mouse. A 60,000 DPI sensor, 8K polling, optical switches, adjustable LOD, and an advanced wireless MCU give competitive players considerable room for configuration. Whether 8K polling makes a noticeable difference will naturally depend on the game, PC performance, display refresh rate, and the player’s own sensitivity to input latency.

ATTACK SHARK plans to make the F1 AIR available for order starting August 17, 2026. The company has not announced pricing in its launch release, so its overall value will be easier to judge once the retail price is confirmed. On specifications alone, however, ATTACK SHARK is clearly positioning the F1 AIR at the performance-focused end of the wireless FPS mouse market.
