xTool O1 Omni Printer Brings 4-in-1 Printing to Desktops

xTool O1 Omni Printer enters the market with a bold goal: eliminating the need for multiple specialized machines. Developed by xTool, the new desktop system combines four major printing technologies into a single platform, allowing creators, makers, and small businesses to work across a wide range of materials using one integrated workflow. The launch introduces what the company calls the world’s first true Omni Printer.

Unlike traditional desktop printers that focus on a single application, the O1 is designed to handle rigid materials, textiles, transfer films, and decorative surfaces. This approach gives users more flexibility while reducing equipment costs and workspace requirements.

A Single Platform for Multiple Printing Technologies

The biggest highlight of the O1 is its ability to combine UV printing, DTG printing, DTF printing, and UV DTF production in one machine. Users can print directly onto materials such as wood, acrylic, glass, metal, and fabric without switching between separate devices.

The printer uses a modular dual-printhead design that can be configured for different production needs. One setup focuses on dual-UV printing for faster output and layered visual effects, while another combines UV and fabric printing for businesses that produce both hard goods and apparel.

This versatility allows creators to expand product offerings from customized gifts and signage to clothing, decals, packaging, and promotional merchandise.

Pixel-Scan Vision System Enhances Accuracy

One of the most advanced technologies inside the system is the Pixel-Scan Vision System. By combining line laser measurements with CIS scanning technology, the printer can accurately detect object surfaces and automatically adjust printing height.

The integrated Laser-Guided Auto-Focus helps prevent printhead collisions while ensuring consistent print quality across different materials. Meanwhile, distortion-free scanning enables a “Drop & Print” workflow that reduces setup time and minimizes manual alignment.

When paired with optional rotary accessories, the system can generate 3D models of cylindrical objects such as tumblers, making it easier to preview designs before production begins.

Software Tools Powered by Automation and AI

xTool has paired the hardware with an intelligent software ecosystem through xTool Studio. The software includes AI-assisted features designed to simplify complex production tasks and improve workflow efficiency.

Users can take advantage of automatic contour recognition, which detects irregular shapes and intelligently fills printable areas while avoiding openings such as camera cutouts. The software also supports laser-cut projects, automatically aligning printed graphics with previously cut materials.

Additional creative tools include a library of more than 2,000 textures, support for 7mm relief effects, and a lenticular image generator capable of producing glasses-free 3D visual effects.

Built for Businesses, Designers, and Makers

The O1 is positioned as a versatile production tool rather than a niche creative device. Small businesses can use it to diversify product catalogs, while designers gain the flexibility to apply artwork across multiple product categories. Makers and hobbyists can also explore new fabrication possibilities without investing in several separate machines.

Beyond productivity, the printer focuses on usability through GREENGUARD-certified inks and an integrated air filtration system designed for home and studio environments. SmartCycle 2.0 automated maintenance technology further reduces downtime by helping prevent clogging and simplifying routine upkeep.

According to xTool, pre-orders opened on June 29 with three configurations available: UV Edition, Dual-Head UV Edition, and UV + Fabric Edition. Pricing starts at $1,699 during the pre-order period, while the official global launch is scheduled for July 15. More information is available through xTool, which continues to expand its ecosystem of digital fabrication tools for creators and businesses worldwide.
