Panasonic plan to sell the new high speed 8GB SDHC card in September. No word on an estimated price, however you can learn its features first, here they are: 7676MB usable capacity, up to 20MB/s data transfer rate, and Class 6 of speed class (minimum data transfer speed of 6MB per second). This card has model number RP-SDV08GU1K and works well with Panasonic`s high definition SD video camera such as HDC-SD5. Following the release of 8GB, Panasonic also plan to launch its successor, 16GB SDHC card, late this year.
