The newly introduced MiaoLab Living Series marks the first major product lineup from Shenzhen-based innovation brand MiaoLab, founded in 2025. Designed to improve everyday home and desk environments, the series focuses on safety, intelligent design, and practical functionality. The debut product, the MiaoLab Tower Power Strip, targets one of the most overlooked parts of modern setups: how we actually power all those devices crowding our desks.

Unlike traditional flat extension cords that sprawl across the floor, the MiaoLab Tower Power Strip uses a compact vertical structure that organizes multiple sockets in a single upright unit. This design not only reduces cable clutter but also makes it easier to access outlets in tight workspaces such as gaming desks, home offices, and shared workstations. The tower format also helps keep plugs separated, preventing bulky adapters from blocking neighboring sockets.

Vertical Design Built for Modern Desks

One of the standout aspects of the product is its vertical power tower design combined with a flexible 2-meter power cord. The tall structure allows multiple plugs to be stacked vertically, making it ideal for setups with monitors, speakers, laptops, and charging hubs. Instead of crawling under a desk searching for outlets, users can keep the power source visible and accessible.

The device is also designed with mobility in mind. Its roly-poly base allows it to self-right if knocked over, similar to those weighted toys that bounce back upright. This makes the tower particularly useful in environments such as RV living, temporary workspaces, or dynamic setups where cables and devices are constantly moved around.

Built-In Protection for High-Demand Devices

Power protection is another key focus. The tower integrates 1420J surge protection to help safeguard sensitive electronics such as gaming consoles, desktop PCs, and monitors. Power spikes and sudden voltage fluctuations can damage hardware, so this built-in protection layer adds an extra safeguard for multi-device environments.

The system also supports a maximum 3680W power output, allowing it to handle several devices simultaneously during events or shared activities. Whether powering speakers and lighting during a gathering or charging multiple devices at once, the tower is designed to keep everything running without overloading the circuit.

Safety-First Construction and Durability

Safety engineering is central to the product’s design. The housing uses an 850°C flame-retardant material, which helps reduce fire risks under extreme electrical stress. In addition, the tower includes overload protection that automatically cuts power if the system detects excessive electrical demand.

Durability is another consideration. According to MiaoLab, the sockets are rated for more than 10,000 plug-in cycles, ensuring long-term reliability even in environments where devices are frequently connected and disconnected.

The Start of the MiaoLab Living Ecosystem

The tower power strip is only the beginning of the company’s broader MiaoLab Living ecosystem. Future products planned for the lineup include a radar-based smart wall socket that can automatically cut power when a user approaches, reducing risks such as children touching outlets or pets chewing cables.

Additional concepts include warming base tableware designed to maintain food temperature during meals and an ergonomically engineered mattress that recently received the 2026 iF Design Award. These products reflect MiaoLab‘s broader goal of merging safety, comfort, and intelligent design across everyday household items.
