Hisense has introduced the UR9 Series, a premium TV lineup built around one big idea: making MiniLED color feel less artificial and more like what your eyes actually expect to see. Instead of simply chasing louder brightness numbers, because apparently TVs now compete like gym bros, the UR9 focuses on True RGB MiniLED technology and a more natural viewing experience for movies, sports, games, and everyday streaming.

The key upgrade is how the UR9 creates color from the backlight itself. Traditional MiniLED TVs usually depend on white or blue LED backlights with color filters, while the UR9 uses a full RGB MiniLED system with independent red, green, and blue diodes. This gives the display more direct control over color accuracy and brightness, helping scenes look rich without becoming cartoonishly oversaturated.

The UR9 Series moves beyond conventional MiniLED by generating color closer to the source of light. Each RGB MiniLED unit combines red, green, and blue light control, allowing the TV to reproduce a wider range of tones with better precision. Hisense says this architecture can reach up to 100% BT.2020 color gamut, which matters because BT.2020 is one of the most demanding color standards used for premium video content.

Audio is handled by an integrated 4.1.2 Multi-Channel Surround Sound system tuned by Devialet. The setup includes up-firing height speakers, surround channels, and a built-in subwoofer, creating a more immersive 360-degree sound field without requiring a separate soundbar on day one. Dedicated home theater people will still buy more speakers, because restraint is apparently illegal, but the built-in system looks serious.

The UR9 also follows a Pure Elegance Design with a premium metal stand and near bezel-less finish, giving it a clean look for modern living rooms. Hisense has not detailed full pricing and regional availability in this announcement, but the UR9 Series is positioned as a global premium launch.
