DENSO ADC announced BHT-700 Series of 1-D and 2-D wireless handheld barcode terminals. The new BHT-710BWB-WM model 1-D barcode scanner terminal features the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, 624 MHz processor and 128 MB of RAM, both Bluetooth and high-security WLAN (802.11a/b/g) wireless coverage, with up to 12 hours of continuous wireless communication from a single battery. The device designed to be used in a wide variety of mobile-application areas such as field operations, transportation and logistics, retail, manufacturing and healthcare.
