SanDisk announced a secure, card-based media solution with network-connected memory to support the Cricket Muve Music service. Scheduled to be be available in January 2011 and initially on the Samsung Suede mobile phone, the Muve Music service allows consumers to download DRM-free Muve Music content on their mobile phones. The content is stored and protected on the SanDisk flash memory card, and users don’t need a computer to download them. Muve Music includes unlimited talk, text and Web plus unlimited music downloads, ringtones and ringback tones.
