As reported by The Economic Times (ET), Sony has an idea to develop console based phone in the future, a Playstation Phone. And ET also mentioned that Sony Ericsson has already registered a mobile device with video game features to the US Patents and Trademark Office, so i think they are serious about the idea.
“The playstation is a proven success and so is Sony Ericsson. Convergence with the two arms working together is definitely plausible.” said Jim Ryan, the Sony Computer Entertainment co-chief operating officer.
