Asus presented Hermes, a rugged 7-inch UMPC, during COMPUTEX Taipe 2007. When it called rugged, it mean the UMPC is shock/vibration/dust-resistance and also water-proof suitable for outdoor use (Military Standard: MIL-STD-810F). The new Hermes powered by VIA C7-M processor, optional SSD, and LED screen. The standard configuration start at $700 and will be available in the fall of 2007. [via gootamobile]
