Infinix GT 50 Pro Debuts Liquid Cooling

Infinix has introduced the GT 50 Pro, a gaming-focused flagship built for players who want more than the usual “fast chip, shiny lights, please clap” smartphone routine. This device combines liquid cooling, pressure-sensitive shoulder controls, AI gaming tools, and high-refresh visuals into one seriously aggressive package. It also sits at the center of the company’s New GT Ecosystem, which includes accessories designed to extend the gaming experience beyond the phone itself.

The main idea behind the GT 50 Pro is simple: keep performance stable when games become demanding. Many gaming phones can start strong, then slowly melt into warm regret after long sessions. The GT 50 Pro tries to avoid that with a dedicated HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture, visible through a transparent Pipeline Window Display. It is not just decorative sci-fi cosplay either, since the cooling system uses active liquid circulation to help manage heat from core components.

The biggest technical flex here is the phone’s industry-first micro-pump liquid cooling system, which Infinix says covers 100% of key heat sources. The system uses a large 6437mm² diaphragm area and circulates coolant at 6.5ml per minute through precision channels. That sounds like something a tiny robot plumber would brag about, but the point is practical: better thermal transfer during long gaming sessions.

For players who push frame rates hard, this matters. Heat usually causes throttling, and throttling turns flagship hardware into an expensive hand warmer. The GT 50 Pro is designed to maintain high frame rates during extended play, especially when paired with the GT Magcharge Cooler 2.0. That accessory adds active thermoelectric refrigeration and supports wireless bypass charging, routing power toward the chipset instead of forcing everything through the battery.

The GT 50 Pro also introduces the Open-Cut Pressure-Sense GT Trigger, a dual-pressure mechanical trigger system made for faster and more precise control. Infinix says Native 144FPS certification applies to six major games, including Call of Duty: Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Free Fire, though regional support may vary. XOS 16 adds another layer through features such as Hardcore Esports Mode, AI Frame Rescue Engine, Game Thermal Control Engine, AI Smart Trigger, AI Voice Prompt, AI ZoneTouch Master, and AI Magic Voice Changer. The phone is also promised 3 years of OS version updates and 5 years of security patches.

The front is a 6.78-inch 1.5K display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, 4500-nit peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, 2304Hz PWM dimming, and TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i adds screen protection, while Motion Sickness Relief Display helps improve comfort during movement. Basically, it tries to keep your eyes from staging a protest.

Audio is handled by Dolby Atmos, with Smart, Movie, Gaming, and Music modes.
