Casio has developed a watch using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology, which the prototype of the watch was exhibited at the recent CES in Las Vegas. The wristwatch sharing a two-way data link with a BLE-equipped smartphones, and has various functions including alarm, stopwatch, countdown timer, world time, and auto calendar. The watch can be synchronized with time information transmitted from a smartphone and alerts users of incoming calls and e-mail messages sent to a smartphone.
