UGREEN Maxidok Thunderbolt 5 Docks for Power Users

UGREEN has officially introduced a new generation of high-performance desktop connectivity solutions with the launch of the UGREEN Maxidok Thunderbolt 5 docking stations. The lineup includes two variants — the Maxidok 17-in-1 and the Maxidok 10-in-1 — designed to support demanding professional workflows. With Thunderbolt 5 bandwidth reaching up to 120Gbps, these docks target creators, developers, and power users who rely on multi-display setups, high-speed storage, and reliable power delivery.

The expansion of the Thunderbolt 5 ecosystem reflects a growing demand for simplified desktop environments without sacrificing performance. Both docks provide high-speed connectivity, multi-display output, and integrated charging capabilities, allowing laptops and desktops to function as fully equipped workstations through a single cable connection.

Flagship Power: Maxidok 17-in-1

The Maxidok 17-in-1 is the flagship model in the lineup and is designed for heavy multitasking and data-intensive workflows. Equipped with 17 ports, the dock delivers a massive level of connectivity that includes Thunderbolt expansion, USB ports, networking, and display outputs. The device supports Thunderbolt 5 bandwidth up to 120Gbps, enabling extremely fast data transfers between connected devices.

One of the standout capabilities of this model is its integrated storage expansion. The dock includes a built-in M.2 SSD slot supporting up to 8TB, turning the docking station into both a connectivity hub and a high-speed storage system. This feature is especially valuable for content creators working with large video files or developers managing extensive datasets.

Essential Performance: Maxidok 10-in-1

The Maxidok 10-in-1 focuses on delivering streamlined performance for everyday productivity setups. While it features fewer ports than the flagship version, it still retains the most essential connectivity options needed for modern workspaces. Users still benefit from 120Gbps Thunderbolt 5 transfer speeds, ensuring compatibility with high-bandwidth devices and external storage.

This dock is designed for clean and efficient desk environments. It offers a true plug-and-play experience without requiring additional drivers or DisplayLink adapters. With integrated Gigabit Ethernet, display connectivity, and reliable power delivery, the Maxidok 10-in-1 is positioned as a practical solution for professionals working from home or office setups.

Advanced Multi-Display Support

Both docking stations deliver powerful display capabilities powered by Thunderbolt 5 display bandwidth. For Apple systems such as the newest MacBooks and Macs, users can connect a single 8K display or dual 6K monitors. Windows systems can support single or dual 8K displays depending on the hardware configuration.

This level of display flexibility is particularly useful for creators who rely on large multi-monitor workspaces for editing, design, or programming. High-resolution displays paired with fast storage and high-bandwidth connectivity allow workflows that previously required multiple adapters or complex setups.

Design, Power Delivery, and Reliability

The Maxidok 17-in-1 features a durable zinc-aluminum alloy enclosure that improves heat dissipation during heavy workloads. Advanced thermal management ensures stable performance when multiple high-power devices are connected simultaneously.

The flagship dock also delivers up to 240W total power delivery, supporting demanding setups that include laptops, displays, and peripherals. Meanwhile, the Maxidok 10-in-1 provides up to 140W system power, which is more than sufficient for typical laptop charging and office-level device connectivity.

With these two devices, UGREEN continues expanding its ecosystem of high-performance connectivity accessories. The company positions the Maxidok lineup as a bridge between high-speed computing hardware and the increasingly complex needs of modern digital workflows.

According to UGREEN, the Maxidok 17-in-1 Thunderbolt 5 Docking Station will retail for $499.99 MSRP with a launch price of $389.99, while the Maxidok 10-in-1 will carry a $299.99 MSRP with a launch price of $249.99. Both models are available for pre-sale beginning March 6, 2026, through the official store and will appear on Amazon starting March 24, 2026.
