Samsung Preps Smarter Fabric, Air, and Floor Care [CES 2026]

CES-Living-Product-Lineup

Samsung Electronics is heading to CES 2026 with a refreshed “AI-connected living” lineup that targets three painfully human problems: laundry that never ends, rooms that never feel quite right, and floors that magically re-dirty themselves. The showcase centers on upgrades to the Bespoke AI AirDresser, Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, WindFree Pro Air Conditioner, and Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra, all designed to work more smoothly as a system instead of isolated gadgets.

Faster laundry cycles without guessing games

The 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo focuses on shortening the wash-to-dry journey, with a Super Speed cycle that uses a high-pressure Speed Spray to help detergent work faster and rinse more efficiently. On the drying side, Samsung adds a Booster Heat Exchanger to improve performance, aiming to reduce that familiar “why is this still damp?” moment at the end of a cycle.

On the smart side, the upgraded AI Wash & Dry+ uses multiple sensors to tune water, detergent, and cycle behavior per load, including fabric-type detection that now spans five categories. A Wide Lint Filter with a one-touch design is meant to make maintenance less annoying, and an Auto Open Door+ feature can open the door and circulate internal air after wash-only cycles to help reduce musty smells.

Samsung is also widening the lineup with two interface options: the original 7-inch LCD model and a more affordable version with a 2.8-inch LCD plus a jog dial. It is a practical move that acknowledges not everyone wants a big screen on a laundry machine, even if the machine really wants to be a computer.

Garment refresh meets “wrinkle rescue” mornings

The updated Bespoke AI AirDresser returns with stronger wrinkle handling via Auto Wrinkle Care, powered by an enhanced Dual AirWash and Dual JetSteam setup. The point is simple: quicker wrinkle smoothing for rushed mornings, plus high-temperature steam aimed at freshness and hygiene-focused care.

Samsung also leans into load-aware behavior with an intelligent drying course that adjusts time based on small, medium, or large loads to avoid over-drying or under-drying. That matters more than it sounds, because fabric care is usually where “smart” appliances either shine or quietly ruin your favorite shirt.

One of the more interesting updates is cross-device coordination. Auto Cycle Link can recommend or sync a related AirDresser course after certain Laundry Combo cycles, creating a more continuous garment-care flow when both products are connected in the same ecosystem.

Wind modes get obsessive, in a good way

The Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner is built around something buyers actually notice: how the air feels. Samsung increases the number of blades from one to three, enabling airflow to be directed in multiple directions and enabling seven tailored wind modes, including Max Wind for faster cooling, Surround Wind for more even distribution, Long Reach Wind for distance, and Down Wind for pushing cool air downward.

It also adds sensing-driven behavior through radar-based AI Direct and Indirect Wind modes, which can aim airflow toward a person or away from them depending on comfort preferences. On top of that, AI Fast & Comfort Cooling analyzes temperature, humidity, and room size to pick an optimized approach, switching between fast cooling, WindFree comfort, or a dry comfort mode.

For people who watch energy use (or just hate surprise bills), Samsung says an AI Energy Mode can help reduce energy consumption by managing compressor behavior based on usage patterns and external conditions, with SmartThings acting as the brain for monitoring and optimization.

A robot vacuum that recognizes more than furniture

The Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra robot vacuum adds more autonomy by improving what it can recognize and how it reacts. Powered by a Qualcomm Dragonwing processor, it uses deep-learning AI object recognition to better identify humans and pets, plus smaller obstacles like cables or rugs that typically trigger messy interventions.

A notable addition is AI Liquid Recognition, which can detect spills and then either clean or avoid them depending on user preference. It is a small feature with big real-world impact, because “robot + liquid” is usually where optimism goes to die.

Samsung also upgrades mobility with Easy Pass Wheel technology designed to help the robot climb higher thresholds, reducing the number of places where it gets stuck and waits for a human to rescue it like a stranded turtle.

Samsung Electronics will show these appliances at CES 2026 (Jan. 6-9) in Las Vegas, with hands-on viewing in its showroom at Wynn Las Vegas, and the company notes SmartThings connectivity as a key part of the experience. Pricing and regional availability were not detailed in the announcement, but Samsung did confirm a more budget-friendly Laundry Combo variant with a smaller display alongside the larger-screen model.
