Until recently, thousands of smokers have struggled to quit the habit without an effective alternative. Nicotine patches, gum and many others have had success, and have worked for me in the past. However, I’ve found myself returning to old habits (usually on a summers days in a beer garden).
Vaping is no doubt increasing in popularity and helping thousands quit. But what is all the fuss about? For me, it’s about sustainability. Vaping means I can have a beer in summer and not laps in a moment of weakness. Plus, I really enjoy it in the same way I like a ciggy with a drink, or after a long day.
I like smoking, but the health risks are too great. Whilst you can’t say with certainty that there are absolutely no heath implications with vaping, it’s considered by the NHS to be 95% less harmful than normal cigarettes. I’ll take those odds any day.
If you’re looking to make a change, it can be tough to know where to start because e-cigarettes come in a wide variety of designs and styles, not to mention the endless number of e-liquid brands and flavours. Here’s 5 of the best and most popular bit of kit to get you off to good start.
